The 3.3" William Optics Rack & Pinion RC Focuser is made to work with GSO Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes. This type of focuser is compatible with Apertura RC telescopes as well! When you add this RC dual speed focuser to your RC telescope setup, you will be able to use the rough and fine focus functions to help you obtain the perfect focus for your astrophotography sessions.
On the telescope side of the focuser, you will find a large flange to connect the focuser to the OTA. This flange also works as a spacer, providing more space if you would like to add a user supplied filter wheel and/or Off-Axis Guider (OAG).
The body of the William Optics R&P focuser is an attractive black with red accents on the fine focus knob and a band of red that wraps around the full body of the focuser.
Attached to this focuser is a x0.8 flattener which provides users with improved capability for full frame images. Adding the flattener gives a backfocus of 86.15mm for 12" and 16" GSO RC Telescopes.
